MEET THE
STAFF
We are fortunate at TRA in having an able and enthusiastic staff
(teaching and non-teaching), committed to providing a challenging, relevant
educational experience at all stages.
The senior management team - Mr
Donnie Macleod Eric Morrison (Depute Rector), Mr Alastair McKinlay (Depute
Rector) and Mr Angus Gray (Depute Rector) - share a wide range of
responsibilities (Appendix 1). Remits
are reviewed regularly and adjusted to ensure individuals develop a breadth of
expertise.
Central to these responsibilities
are the links established with subject departments through regular attendance
at departmental meetings. Subjects are led by principal teachers who are
responsible for the smooth running of the department.
Each year the departments prepare development plans
which build on current strengths and aim to further improve the provision
within the resources available. The link SMT member has a key role in
partnership with the principal teacher in monitoring and reviewing the work of
the department including, of course, the implementation of the development
plan.
